Sony, i just don't like the overall feel and build quality of them.
Saying that if i was to give up Canon then i would probably end up with Nikon as they are by far the best out there in my experience. The older Pentax's are good though (film not digital).

Having handled Dawns Canons (cameras that is, you naughty lot)I wouldn't have one as they are small and fiddly to use.

If I was given any Camera...I'd say yes please!!! 
But....when I was playing about with them (prior buying) I really didn't like the feel of the Canon - no reason other than I just wasn;t comfortable holding it.

Never say never. Just becuase a brand may produce poor cameras now doesnt mean 12-18mts down the line that they wont.
Likewise with canon and nikon are market leaders now doesnt mean they will keep producing the goods, they may rest on their laurels.
