Girlie Camera Bags

I am on a quest for a practical, but nice camera bag!!!

I have a big crumpler bag that everything lives in, but I want something more pretty easier to carry across my body, I had bought a big blokey rucksack from ebay, but it weighs a ton.

I know Jols is also looking for a more feminine camera bag,as they do seem to be marketed at men,and I bought a messenger type bag that was padded for my laptop, but the straps are so wide when across the chest it isn't comfortable.

I have found two places in the states, they are cute, totally functional, and don't scream camera bag

I love these bags......www.jill-e.com. I want the medium brown suede bag

And these www.shootsac.com , these were designed for busy photographers on shoots like weddings when you want to have several lenses on you, but not carry a big bag all the time during the day.Great idea, and you can different covers to change the look.

Does anyone know of anything similiar in the UK????

Re: Girlie Camera Bags

Yeah, that is the only drawback the price

But they are niceI really do love the brown suede bag but it's the price.

There must be loads of women who want nice camera bags, why don't they make more of them???????

Re: Girlie Camera Bags

I think the same thing.

Lowpro makes really nice roomy bags but the colours are so boring.

They should pop and streak or two of pink and purple across them and I am sure they would sell.

Re: Girlie Camera Bags

I want a bag that isn't going to cut my boobs in half when I wear it across my body, look good like a proper bag, and still protect my kit, have room for lipgloss, keys, mobile and money, all the essential stuff

Did I say I want the suede brown one

Re: Girlie Camera Bags

(pulling a face at you Azz)

I want substance and style !!!!!!! There should be something out there, you can't tell me , that Jols and I are the only ones who want a nice bag, you can pop a body a couple of lenses and other bits and pieces, and essentials like lipgloss in. That is strong, and protected, but doesn't weigh a ton, looks like a proper bag, in a nice design

Okay, maybe I want too much, but there really aren't many bags that are well... nice

Re: Girlie Camera Bags

Thank you Snapper

I am a woman, I don't want a blokes bag, I want a bag designed for a woman, who has a camera, that isn't going to either give me back ache as it is designed to go up the himalayas, be a god awful colour, have straps that are obviously not designed for anybody who has anything more than fried eggs for boobs.

I don't see why you can't have a nice, attractive bag for your camera
