Weding tomorrow!!

Alas not my wedding though ...

Will be a long day as i am doing before wedding and through to the reception. I have cleaned my lenses i am taking, i now have my spare camera body back, i bought a spare flash to go on the spare camera body so i can have 2 cameras set up with my main 2 lenses on, i have spoken to the client yesterday to make sure we are all happy with the shots they want and have said that on the day if they want me to do some other shots just to ask.

I have a sun reflector for filling in shadows which i told my client i would like to try on a few shots.

They are happy for me to experiment as well as getting the basic shots so they wll probably end up with twice as many shots of their day but gives me more to work with. I have told them by the end of the day they will be totally fed up of seeing my camera LOL!!

I have visited the venue, and scoped out the best places for photos after the ceremony. Trouble is, i haven't been inside as they had a wedding on at the time! but i'm sure it will be fine.

I have my list of photos to take, just need to write them down on some prompt cards, i thought of having the prompt cards and punching a hole in the corner of them to put a keyring through so i can just hook it onto my belt to use as reference if i need it...

I also learned a technique for group shots to have everyone close there eyes, then on the count of 3 everyone is to open their eyes and then take the shot to guarantee everyone has their eyes open and is looking at me

can you tell i am nervous, i think i have thought of everything, but any suggestions to make things run smoothly will be greatly received.

Re: Weding tomorrow!!

oooh just thought, should i leave time at the end of the ceremony for the family to get shots if they want to? Then i can escape to the back of the room and get them leaving the room together and be the first outside!

Re: Weding tomorrow!!

Thats a good idea, at my mates wedding the photographer was very um, over zealous, and got a bit snotty when we tried taking pics

I have been to a wedidng where the photographer set the bride and groonm up in a really nice pose and then invited the guests to take their shots, etc, so he then could get on with it Good idea!
