Got caught in the middle of a protest!
Hey everyone,
Just thought I'd share this, as a number of you know I'm studying Photojournalism at uni, and I am doing a project at the moment, for which I planned to do a shoot of today just in Swansea central, just a roll of colour film, no big deal. So you can imagine how happy I was when I got caught up in the middle of a big protest for the freedom of Palestine.....
2 rolls of colour film and a roll of black and white later, Lorna is a very happy girlie!!!!!
Will develop them this week and pop some scans onto forums if there is anything decent. But apparently there are a lot of protests for it going on around the country today - its a gorgeous sunny day so if you know of one....get your cameras out!!!

Sunny day??? it has never gone above -1c here, Bazza prefers to keep in the warm,oh and it went down to -7c just now . Still not as cold as this morning when it went down to -8c.

oooh I really look forward to the pics Lorna - I expect I know a good few of the people protesting, as when I was in Uni there, I used to do a lot with the socialist students/ socialist worker/ friends of palestine. I regularly used to go on the protests etc - and I could possibly put a few names to faces!

I was in London this last weekend - I steered clear of Trafalgar Square as there was a pro-Israeli demonstration going on. I didn't want to be involved in any argy-bargy from opposing parties if it had kicked off. I think with the world's current political climate, from a security point of view, these events are potential terrorist targets and should be avoided where possible.
