Re: Time for my close up!

Right I can't get techie

But I will give you my gut reaction......

I feel the blue of the eyes and the orange are competing against each other too much. Sorry, it is a great shot though.

Don't hate me!!!! xxxxx

Re: Time for my close up!

I can't get technical either, but for me, it's to close a crop, the face seems very flat, no depth to it, and a bit over exposed, it's all the same colour, hope that makes sense, and the eyes are too blue, hope I've put across successfully what I mean, without offending you

Hope we're still friends

Re: Time for my close up!

Thanks both - im now utterly devistated and never using Yo Again due to your cruel comments LOL

Ok taken on board your suggestions and desaturated his eyes and burned back in some shadows. To clarify, i shot his face with flat light to intentially enhance the eyes and took out some of the remaining shadows (but by indication, should have kept in to retain some detail?)

Re: Time for my close up!

No dont be daft! Gut reactions are fine as long as people understand what you mean

Thankyou

CC can be really difficult at the best of times. The more you do, the more you will understand what to look out for and how to word things
