Canon 500D
Well it looks as though Azz is going to have to update this sections title 
Canon are due to release the 500D in May (this is the sucessor to the 450D, not the close up filter with the same name that they also make
).

Interestingly the 500D will have the same MP as the Canon 50D AND include HD video capture.

Nice find GH - so will the 500d basically be the same as the 50d but with HD vid, or are there any other differences? Where does that leave the 50d :-/
