Hi, I like sky shots as I think it is an ever changing image. In this case I am not sure about the tree and feel either we should have more or none at all. The tracing in the sky in various stages of decomposition makes an interesting shot.

I'd prefer it without the tree as well, it would make a much more abstract looking shot.
Lovely vapour trials though! it always amazes me how planes don't hit each other sometimes.

Interesting observations about the tree. I placed it there on purpose thinking it would relieve the monotony of the large expanse of sky.

I have to agree on the tree - and totally agree with Jackie - either more or none at all!
It is a very interesting shot though, and with no tree it would make a lovely abstract.
