Re: Downing Street respond to Photography Laws Petition

Battered eylids, there is a deterrent if ever I heard one lol, I can imagine it now, the Judge puts on his black hat, "Mr Paedophile, I sentence you to be taken from this court, and your eyelids battered (mushy peas with that?)", Paedophile "Nooooooooooooooooo not the eyelids"

Anyway, I agree with BlackCloud, photographers are treated badly, and why would a would be terrorist attract that much attention to themself in the first place?

I have never been 'moved on', the police did ask me once what I was doing (I was photographing the Portsmouth Guildhall) and I told him, "I'm photographing the Guildhall", he asked "why?"? and I said "because I like the look of it" that was that.

I do however seem to attract the younger "oi mister, what you doing? why? are you gay? it's just a f***** building/tree/car/sky (delete where applicable)"

You would have thought in London, of all places, the police would be more aware of photographers (especially as a lot of them are visitors) than most other cities.

Best we can do is to keep doing what we do, and just ignore what other people think/say, after all, these same people seem to want to know us when they need portraits/weddings/events/pets/kids etc photographed

Oh yeah, back to the terrorist thing, any one use Google Earth or the MS equivalent? Terrorists soo don't need to go out anymore!

Alan.

Is it a shopping centre?????

It is shopping paradise

Besides the security guard was huge, and I wasn't going to argue, plus had the kids with me, so thought it best to just put the camera away.

I lurve Chester, but it is a different type of shopping experience, Trafford centre is when I want everything fairly quick, can find it all , and it's done.

Chester is more about browsing, and exploring, and having a nice shopping day, and something to eat
