Re: Oh what a camera {Nikon D700}

Intersting you should be talking about the Nikon D700 as I have one of those myself, I also have a Nikon D90 which is obviously not a full frame camera. I have used both extensively and both are great cameras. The D700 shoul produce a much better image but I can honoustly say I can barely tell the difference between the two camera both interms of on screen quality and print quality. I use the D90 more when I am doing an energetic shoot as its light weight allows me to move more freely and get more accurate framing. The D700 is used when I am producing still photos where I ahave plenty of time to set up each shot. Interms of my wedding photography which is a mixture of both I use both cameras, D700 for the group shots and the D90 for the reportage because it gives me the freedom to spot a special moment and react. The D90 is a lot cheaper so I would recomend you consider it for its manouvoirability. Check out http://www.spectrumweddingphotography.co.uk and in particular http://www.spectrumweddingphotograph...newcastle.aspx take a look and tell me if you can tell which photographs are taken with the Nikon D700 and Which are with the Nikon D90 if you can't tell then maybe consider the D90 as a cheaper more fluid camera in term s of operation

Thanks for the info finbar1970, that looks like an interesting option, I think the D700 will just have to stay in my dreams
