Help! How do I stop?

My name is Gaz, and I'm a photoholic.

I...I knew I shouldn't. Really I did. But the camera was cheap, and I needed something just to record details of work. That is all. I didn't want it to become a recreational thing. I didn't know there was a chance it could take over. There's no warning on the box!

It started well enough. Pictures of work. What a job looked like when I started. How it looked when we had done it. Just archiving stuff. Nothing kinky, nothing artistic.

But...but then I started to notice *stuff*. The way the light played on a leaf, the way a shadow fell on a fence. The different colours at different times of the day. And I'm sorry. I started to take photographs of it. I feel so dirty....

And then, dear lord, I bought *another* camera. And it wasn't a common one, a *street* one. This was the hard stuff. The good shit. Oh gods, I got a DSLR. There. I said it. And I can't put it down!

Every day, when I take the dog for a walk the first thing I reach for is the camera. Okay, sometimes I take the bridge camera, believing I am cutting down, but always, ALWAYS, I grab a camera. Sometimes I'm half way home before I realise I forgot to bring the dog...

And it is getting worse. When I started it was just one or two. I knew I could give up any time I wanted. Now...I am taking fifty a day, and it is getting worse. I can't stop, people. I JUST CAN'T STOP!

So, I'm Gaz, and Im a photoho...oh, just a sec, I want to get a pic of the sun on that bus...
