Re: The Dogsey Shoot - a fav....

LOL , I am just imagining them both in Tutus and pretty collars, in the park I do have a picture somewhere of Meggie wearing a plastic tiara of Tia's, she looked quite cute and she is a Diva

I am really glad you enjoyed it

Re: The Dogsey Shoot - a fav....

Each to their own and I was brought up with a toy breed and still have involvement in them. My parents Pom's are well and truly big dogs in a small body and would not of sat their with a tutu on, he, he! Although I do have one of my Spanish in a fairy dress and pom in a father christmas outfit on one of my websites!!

Great photo though, no doubting that!

Re: The Dogsey Shoot - a fav....

Have to disagree sorry I don't like the picture. Why? first of all I don't agree with dressing up a dog, it trying to make them into something their not, and second the choice of background is such a bad one, blue would have been better by making the dog stand out more or even the same pose on grass would be more natural.
Still if we all liked everything that others liked then the world would be a far poorer place to live.

My comments were not directed at the breed, I can understand that people may like the dogs with no or little hair but I don't like this sort of treatment of them. I do realize that there are those who will and think they look cute and adorable but to me that sounds like a dog being treated like a stuffed toy. Having said that it is the photographers job to fulfil the clients wishes and I have no doubt that KK has and that technically she has done a very good job.

Re: The Dogsey Shoot - a fav....

I doubt it was KK's decision to dress the dog up or not - the photograph itself is excellent.

Re: The Dogsey Shoot - a fav....

LOL iv been offline today (orange is rubbish BTW dont use them ) and here i am in the middle of a debate - Goodness anyone would think it was Dogsey LOL

The choice of dressing the dog up wasnt down to me, but you cant always tell a client no especially when its what they are after. I have a few more that i like, but this was one i had already PPd.

I have on with a blue backgound and TBH it doesnt work aswell as you would hope, as for grass, my client had an option of studio or outdoor and chose a stdio session
