Re: Street shots from today

Sorry Dave, these aren't doing it for me.

I normally love your street shots but these lack an edgieness.

Just my opinion mind.

Soz.

Re: Street shots from today

No worries Daisy.

Can't honestly say I went into the shots today with the juices flowing.

Maybe just a tad of little self confidence.........

It'll be back soon I'm sure

Thinking about it, maybe I should have done them in mono?

Re: Street shots from today

That's strange Azz, the RAW files weren't altered in any way and the tiffs were just cropped where necessary and resized befor sharpening and saved

Re: Street shots from today

I like them and they all tell a story.

Re: Street shots from today

Hey Dave, I'm not so keen but I'm not very into street photography to be honest.

Re: Street shots from today

aww - don't be too downhearted! They don't do it for me, but there's lots you can take from them - lots that you can work with to improve - and all shots are worth taking, if only to learn from them! I always admire all attempts at street togging because I'm far too nervous a disposition to do any myself.

I think try them in mono, see how they fare. I think the first could work with a bit of a vignette, a slightly different crop, and a bit of work to make the background less obvious. I also think it would be better in mono

Well done for trying though - remember, no shot is a waste, as long as you learn something from it!
