Macro Mix 4

Heres another set of images.

For the diffusers on the MT24ex im using a Gary Fong Lightsphere Dome in front of each Flash Head with a small piece of vellum paper over the flash head itself as another layer of diffusion. I have made it so the domes can be moved closer to the subject if i need heavier diffusion. They look a little bit odd as they are quite large and i may trim them down in future but a £40 for two i will wait till im sure

I will post a pic soon (to busy photographing bugs)

Very difficult to get detail in the blacks without blowing out the whites on the first but the diffusers did an admirable job. All of my shots (unless otherwise stated) are shot at F11 or F10 for the higher mags and ISO100 with the max synch shutter speed of 1/200.

Re: Macro Mix 4

Great details show in these insect photos...I for one, am really glad they are very small things...if they were 3 or 4 foot critters....scream!!! Shirley
