Your welcome jols

I really have enjoyed this forum over the past couple of days. I believe that a forum should be used for sharing information and helping others with something that you may have the answer to. Many forums today are over populated with an "I'm to good to help you attitude". I too am glad that I found you.

Re: It's kk's fault.

bp...... do you see the scales in the top right hand corner of the post ?

If you click on it it adds to the posters reputation. You can give a reason as well.

As for you finding this forum I for one are glad you did, and I agree on some other forums their are some right 'stuffed shirts'

I haven't written anything up yet sorry, but basically it's how Jols said, clicking on this icon:

Let's you give someone a rep point if you feel they made a good post. You can leave a reason too.

These then show in the users control panel - and it adds to their reputation.

The more rep someone gets, means they are able to give more too - so someone with lots of reputation points give more points when they themselves give out rep points

XXX amount of rep points gives users a block in their profile (its around 100 rep points for a block). So it's a neat way to see which members are helpful in the community

I think I've got it. If I wanted to give Kanikula one for her color bg tutorial, I go to that post and hit the icon and leave a brief description on how helpful it was.

So what do the points buy? Are you going to start selling some items here (hats, t-shirts, mugs, etc.)
