Best place for UV filters?

Hoya 52mm UV G series filter £3.99 from microglobe... £8.68 with postage tho. Any better/cheaper places?

£7.50 from amazon...

Have you tried Ebay, I bought a CPL Filter from Hong Kong, a few days ago,
and it was very reasonable, also bought a few other things, will let you know what they are like when they get here.

Like lenses you get as good as you pay for, however if you want to use a UV filter mainly as a lens protector then yes get as cheap as possible.

I ordered the Hoya Green ones from amazon in the end £11 for 2 inc P+P. I only want them as lens protectors

When I saw this thread title - my immediate response was - 'on the front of your lens' - I mean - where else would you put a UV filter

Good you are investing in one to protect your glass though.
