Beeutiful Flowers

One third of the fun at the zoo is the animals. The second photo opportunity comes from the people who are visitors. Last but not least are the flowers and plants that are so very well kept. I sometimes just go to shoot the Autumn leaves and Spring flowers. I had a royal day today capturing 2 of the 3 sources of photographic subjects. These flowers were so inviting, especially when I spotted this honey bee jumping from flower to flower. I couldn't pass it up. bd This was shot with my D800 with a Nikkor 70-300mm F/4.0-5.6G lens aboard.

I was snatching multiple pictures of that bee I posted earlier, flittering between flowers. Here's another version.

Re: Beeutiful Flowers

What's interesting is that I shot this with a Nikkor 70-300mm F/4.0-5.6 lens, hand held, from a distance. I'm lucky Mr. Bee settled there for a few seconds. I tracked him through three flowers before getting this shot. I think the bee & flower he's on is nice & sharp. It better be at F/13! LOL
