Too switched on at the moment unfortunately with all the young birds about. He came in with a young Great Tit about 20 mins ago. He didn't get a very warm resonse from us, however, I doubt we will overcome his natural instincts.

Not safe, collars can get hung up on vegetation. The only time the birds are at real risk is the few weeks of the breeding season.
