Loch Garten

About the only landscape shot taken this week. It was quite liberating having my compact camera with me as it took away that itch to try and photograph the Ospreys.

Anyway - Loch Garten.

Re: Loch Garten

Thanks folks.

Loch Garten is a tranquil place - much more peaceful than Loch Morlich. The Loch is within the Abernethy forest, the largest remaining area of Scotland's ancient Caledonian forest and as well as the Ospreys is home to Wildcat, Scottish Crossbills, Capercaillie and Red Squirrels.

Re: Loch Garten

Lovely clear shot Phil.

Totally agree about the liberation of the compact but always find myself saying ..'this was just me little camera.... with ma Canon S95'

Total snobbery of course .and ill judged at that because it is such a great all rounder and the Macro function is exceptional..as are the colours. xx
