D7000 on Order
I made my move and ordered a D7000 body through Amazon.com. It will take until mid-October to ship but I'm on the waiting list for one. I bought two 8 Gig SDHC Class 10 memory cards for it today as well. It has begun.

I'm sure you'll love it Bob especially the improved AF & fps for moving subjects.
I tend to do very little Landscape stuff in the Summer but I'll be getting back out there over the Autumn (fall) and Winter.
I hope your camera arrives in time for the changing colours Bob - I'm in a similar boat in that I've got a new camera body but none of my landscape type lenses will fit it as they're for my cropped body. I'm hoping to try and get hold of something over the next few weeks.
