Can't recall who my house insurance is with but I suspect all my gear is covered. I must make a point of checking the small print.
From memory the value of my kit is covered individually but not all together which is fine for accidents but not if I get the lot nicked in the bag.
I think a couple of my guitars might be worth checking too.....
