I know in Shetland and Orkney the 'fallout' is starting to settle on the ground. I guess being the farthest North it was going to happen there first so I'm not sure if this will spread South.

there was mention on the local news of ash on cars in some areas of Norfolk this morning

Well we drove down to Clevedon yesterday afternoon, all poised for fantastic sunsets with the old pier on the foreground (as where tons of other togs). What a disappointment. Never mind had a lovely afternoon and dinner out!
