Weekend in Sky
Hi I am off for the weeknd to Sky I am taking my 7D, 17-40L, 24-105L, & 100-400L and a tripod, and a cokin ND4 filter,
Any good tips folks please. ( weather permitting )

Fish and Chips from 'The Lower Deck' in Portree.
Photography wise - too much to mention on Skye really - Landscapes a plenty.

Skye - The Isle of Skye - Is an Island off the west coast of Scotland. It's an amazing place Bob, rich in history, romance, wildlife, sea life, culture, game / sea food, and of course geography.
We go quite often and we're always sad to leave. Karen and I spent our honeymoon there 13 years ago at Greshornish House - We still have my dog 'Skye' as reminder.
From a photography point of view - The Cullin (mountains), whales, dolphins, Golden Eagles, Sea Eagles, Otters, Red deer - just everything you could wish for but wildlife aside it's renowned for it's unique 'brilliant' light for landscapes.
It's not all bliss though. As the saying goes....
If you can see the mainland from Skye - It's going to rain. If you can't - it's raining.
We go quite often and we're always sad to leave. Karen and I spent our honeymoon there 13 years ago at Greshornish House - We still have my dog 'Skye' as reminder.
From a photography point of view - The Cullin (mountains), whales, dolphins, Golden Eagles, Sea Eagles, Otters, Red deer - just everything you could wish for but wildlife aside it's renowned for it's unique 'brilliant' light for landscapes.
