Re: Best monitor calibration tool?

OK update

Now had time to recalibrate the monitor and printer with colormunki. Having got everything right, including removing the old original monitor colour management, I went through the whole process properly. First the monitor then the printer and the right paper (most important ). With the picture in Adobe and rechecking everything did a print and what a difference to the old settings.

The smaller picture is the recalibrated one with Colormunki and loads closer to the picture the monitor shows, which has back lighting. The larger one isn't quite so dark ( think my shadow got in the way a bit), its the way it came out in this photo but the difference is obvious. The original picture is the same just the calibration has made the difference.

for those interested inmonitor /printer/paper calibrations
So If doing own printing then a calibration tool, either like Azz has or mine is really a must.

Now to re- tweek the original photo in photoshop
