Thanks, I had never heard of cats having HD either, but I think it is from when people were trying to make the cats even bigger and heavier, from what I can understand. I had not heard of X Raying cats hips either, but from the research I've done a good breeder will X ray their breeding stock. I think it is rare in well bred Maine Coons though.
I do like Ragdolls too, but I prefer the look of the Maine Coon, I love Tabbies,
that probably makes me sound awful, but I love the way they look though you never know what kitten you will get till they are born, and might not end up with a tabby.I will do some research into Ragdolls too though.Thank you
We can't get one till after the summer,as we are going to be travelling quite a bit,and I am coming home for a few weeks in June,so don't want to put a kitten in a cattery.
If you told me ten years ago I would be planning to get a "posh" cat, I'd of never believed you. The older I get. the more I "get" cats
