i love the willow buds ,the dandilions and the greenfinch . you seems to have taken them in great lighting . was this in evening light ? im still loving your macro

I loved the greenfinch ones too - yes, it was lovely golden evening light - only lasted for a few seconds, and this obliging chap sat in the tree and sang his heart out! I know the pic is perhaps a little busy - but I love the lighting and colour, so I feel it does make up for it - short of lopping half the branches off the tree there's not much I could do about the busy-ness anyway!

oh gosh! it's amazing - I couldn't live without it! It's one of my absolute favourite lenses now - and *ideal* for taking pictures of baby rats too! though a bit too close for adults :/ may have to get the 60 mm as well any excuse eh?!
