Log

Well it's been a while! So here's a lil log from the walk earlier today, unfortunately it was the most interesting thing around

Is it too boring? Too much of a cliché?

Re: Log

Mmmm! I don't know what to think Azz. Everything in the photo is so centered, the grass, the road, the log. I want to look at the sky but it's soft so I'm drawn back to the log. I can't think of any edit that would make a difference.

Re: Log

Azz
The colors are nice and its a good demonsration of DOF. Perhaps the foreground rocks Left hand side is a little over exposed in comparison to the Right hand side?

Re: Log

Well nice to see you have picked up the camera again, could you remember where everything is?

Not total happy with the composition, think if the angle of the shot had been different it may have worked better.

Can see what Gav12 means the two sides of the shot seem to be differently exposed, not possible I am sure but something is amiss. May well have been the effect of the strength of the sun perhaps metering for the sun side may have given a better and certainly a different result.

Re: Log

Didn't even know you had a camera!

I like it - not sure about it though. It's missing something... I do like the colours.
