Take Care... (warning - not very pleasant)

Not sure what people think of this one - it's a bit sad really - but saw this on our road today - and thought I'd try to get a punchy shot of it - don't know if this really is though - so any crit welcome

Basically - I wanted it to symbolise the fact that on Irish roads, so many people are killed by reckless driving.

Re: Take Care... (warning - not very pleasant)

I couldn't do anything better myself, but for me it doesn't work. I was trying to decide if it was better having the car in shot or not, or maybe a blurred car with movement. Either way human roadkill wouldn't come to my thoughts although your picture makes a statement that the fox has (most likely) been killed by a car.

I'm not entirely sure the picture conveys the message you are suggesting zoundz.

Re: Take Care... (warning - not very pleasant)

no me either thanks all for the critique though it's a bit of a hard shot to get right. I've a funny feeling if I try again today the body will be in less presentable condition - so I'll probably leave it at that - not a bad shot really, but not what I was after.

thank you

Re: Take Care... (warning - not very pleasant)

The concept is great and could make for an interesing and poignant series. As has been said already, a slower shutter would have produced more motion blur on the car, getting your point across more clearly x
