2008 was a bit of a disaster photographically speaking, we had huge vets bills in July and our holiday company went bust and we ended up forking out a load of extra cash to get our holiday which had been planned for nearly two years, so I never got my DSLR and just continued using my Pan FZ8. Anyway, took this at pier 17 NYC in Oct, I liked the juxtaposition of the modern buildings as a backdrop to this old sailing ship, hope you like it.
Ok, I know its not great and I should have spotted the guy exiting stage right, but, well, meh

I'm not sure what my favourite is but I do like the set I took of the honeybee:

I just love bobmielke's first photo. Could look at it all day. Who need photoshop when nature can do it better.
