Few Little Buggy Things

Second go at this macro lark, only managed an hour or so at a local park so not too much variety to have a go at. But all good practice on the old manual focus, which only normally do on my landscape stuff and not so much on wildlife.

Number two for me although I'm no macro expert.

Some funny goings on around the petal edges in number 1.

It's something I'd love to get into.

Re: Few Little Buggy Things

Thanks fellas.

See what you mean Phil, had a look at unedited raw and nor on that. Think it's an artefact from clarity slider on mid range contrast. Will re edit when get chance.

Re: Few Little Buggy Things

Yeah, one and two are a bit distracting with the weird fringes on the petals :/ Do like number 2 still though, and number 4 is ace!

Lens isn't renowned for it's bokeh, think that is more the case in No 2.

Re: Few Little Buggy Things

So sharp and clear. If I had to pick one then it's number 4, but they're all good.

Re: Few Little Buggy Things

Love no4 and No2 is very good too. Love the composition of the 4th image, it works really well.

Hope you are enjoying your new lens? Looking at these just makes me want to go and buy a Macro lens
