Re: Which is best? Photoshop CS2 or Elements 6?

Of course there are layers in Elements. There are no Actions however. The tools are nearly identical so If you're familiar with photoshop you'll feel right at home with Elements.

Re: Which is best? Photoshop CS2 or Elements 6?

I would be tempted to get the CS2. I think it would be more powerful and it would have a steeper learning curve but it would be the better choice in my mind.

One other thing to think about is that if you are being given CS2 it opens up the path to upgrade cheaply (relatively) to CS4. I think it would cost about £180 to upgrade to CS4 which if bought from scratch is not far short of £600.

Re: Which is best? Photoshop CS2 or Elements 6?

I use Firefox browser and there is a plugin called Exif viewer whereby when you right click on an image there is anoption of viewing the Exif data if present.

I use it all the time

Here's a screenshot of it in use
