I second that Baz always post your pics as its always good to get feedback.

Think what I meant Jols was the comment 'nice shot' could mean just that or it could be a comment for comments sake. Think perhaps even though it is courtesy to say something may be nice shot but the light, composition etc would be improved if, at least from those on here that know the difference between a good technical shot and a good idea or angle.

Think if the beginners and improvers, including me but not you, are to continue to get value as members of the forum we have to have the confidence to show our work, good or bad, and get information that will help us improve. Everyone on here is kind and I am sure we can take any help offered but will loose heart if none is forthcoming.

I try to look at every post, not always possible, but don't always comment, not because I don't like the picture, but for me its a time thing! I look through the pictures first, then read the other comments and by the time I have done that, the time has just flew past and I need to get on with other stuff! Especially if I have not been on for a while. But I love looking at all the pictures, so keep posting!

Jols, I think the reason there seems to be less comments made these days, especially from longer-term members, is that there are far more pictures posted than there used to be. This is obviously because we have far more members than before, and it's just really difficult to comment on them all.

But I dont think so many pics are being posted, oh well just as long as everyone keeps posting and keeps positive.

I work 3-4 days a week and 12 hours a day. That allows me 3-4 days off to compliment my work schedule. When I'm off I'm online catching up on 4 photography forums and 5 motorcycle forums not to mention family & friends e-mails. I try & look at every thread here because it's a small forum where I can apply myself.

I go through the latest posts - If I have time I try and look at them all - replying - It depends.....if the person has asked for a C&C I will look at the picture and see if there is anything I can see that I feel might make it a better picture from MY perspective.

BEing honest, I very rarely look at "people" pictures at all, they dont interest me, sorry. I also dont look at the manipulated pictures very much, although I have seen some stunners, not least the balck water one of KK's which I thought was STUNNING!

I ALWAYS look at any animal pics, I comment if I think there is a need, if others have said my thoughts, often I dont, but I always look at them and Id be upset if people didnt post because they thought people were not interested or looking at them, that goes for every subject, the same for Dogsey, I rarely read training or behaviour ones, living in a mad house, everything I see in these is usually "normal" to me!

Dawn you also forgot to say working in a mad house as well. Be happy
