A few more Gulls and a Heron!
Was in Timoleague again this evening, looking for a buzzard - really very rare here, and I had a tip off - but no luck! Anyway - took some shots of the local black headed gulls

Those are some really nice shots, Laura. Without looking at the exif data it was obvious to me that you had used spot metering on all your images. Can I ask why? does not look to be doing your images any favours other than help preserve the whites on the birds. they look a little dark. Have you tried experimenting with your camera's metering?

Some lovely ones there Zoundz.
2 is my favourite followed by 1,5,7 & 8.
I'd like to know a little more about different metering on birds (esp in flight) - not so much anything to do with these shots - just some general discussion.
