You have very beautiful daughters!
Great composition!
Its hard to tell as its a fairly small image and I'm on my little lappy, but it looks to me as if its the tree that is in focus rather than her face.

Yes - I agree with LM about the focus - having said that, in PS you could soften the tree too - and that would give an even softness, that might look lovely! Always a good idea to try and keep it sharp though (if that's what you want to acheive), focussing on the eyes helps!

I take absolutely LOADS of fuzzy photos on auto! The camera just decides for itself what it wants to focus on! Sometimes its the eyes! Often it isn't!!!!
On my camera if I go to AV mode, I can select which point it will focus on (ie the middle spot, or to the left / right or above/below it). I then point the camera making sure the eyes are at that spot. Did that make sense?

she is managed to get that d70 £250,and is going to a photo club,she is a bit shy and worried what people will say about her work ,would you mind if i posted a picture or 2 of what she has done?i keep asking her to join but she is shy
