New Hairstyle

The girlfriend wanted to try something new with her hair and opted for a fringe.

in true fashion, I reached for my camera.

This was the outcome:



Post processing involved using a cross processing filter (action) and various tweaks within my usual workflow in raw.

I love it - it almost tells a story. It's a fantastic piece of work - I love the colours, the vintage feel - the PP is excellent!

Looks good - I would actually desaturate by about 60% and see how the colours work then

I usually do that Azz, and actually did that before coming to the final outcome.

I decided on this looking towards the retro pop culture style

Sorry, I like the basic shot but find the jaundice look unflattering along with the heavy shadow under and across the chin and burnout on the cheeks. Beautiful girl well posed.

To yellow in the skin for me and it the yellow seems to form a shadow around her aswell. Good shot though.

thanks for the feedback, It was meant to be an over exaggerated effect though I understand what you guys mean about the shadow.

Can understand Dan that you may have achieved that which you set out to do, for me though it does not appeal as the model is attractive and the finished image is not.

I think the idea is good, some potential, but I don't think the PP is flattering and would be better in mono or some other colour treatment. Looks yellow as it is.

I think the whole colour profile differences on each other machines means that people are seeing the image different to how I wished it to look.

I do understand everyones ideas and thoughts regarding the image.

I will revisit the original image and see if I can rework it.
