The S5 Pro is meant to be great for portraits and weddings, some landscape work but a mixed bag otherwise. It was selling at the Fuji refurb a month or so back at £429 (with many appearing brand new) but then there was a Christmas discount code making it delivered at around £365! May have missed that offer now...

That 85mm lens very nice...nice bokeh! But it was an 85mm portrait lens at full frame so considering many of us paupers are using DX format we should be achieving similar results with a nifty fifty! (Just trying to make those of us with our noses pressed iup against KK's sweetie shop window feel better! ) (...of course I'd sooner have the 85mm! )

Re: Giving Up Photography :(

Good joke KK, it certainly forced me to have a peek. My paycheck is spent four time over these days with tax time coming, medical deductibles to be met and oh, yes, there's the new motorcycle & toys for it. Camera gear is really low on my priority list.

I tend to be a practical person. If i give my insurance carrier $1,000 all my medical needs for the rest of the year are totally free. That includes doctor's visits, tests, surgeries & prescription drugs - free. It's all about priorities.
