Re: 12th Century Graveyard

Agree about the focus, but still like the atmosphere capture Daisy. I like graveyards too, though sadly US ones, aren't the same, I shall be found this Summer roving graveyards and churches where I grew up, and in Yorkshire, to make the most of it

I find them tranquil places, not creepy, and as long as you show respect, then I think it's fine, I'd never shoot a modern gravestone TBH, just very old ones, the more covered in lichen etc the better

IF everything goes to plan, end of July, early August, will be staying in between York and Doncaster, am planning a day at the sculpture park at http://www.ysp.co.uk/page/visit-ysp/tc, day in York, day on the Moors, and then a day at a proper British beach Won't be there the whole time, will be more down South.....

Lichen, some Ivy if you are lucky and either a beautiful sunset/sunrise, or a deep brooding sky, sorted

Re: 12th Century Graveyard

*cries* We won't be over in time... I was kind of hoping it would coincide with our trip as it would be lovely to meet up! We're not over until second week though Go to Whitby, there are so many incredible photo ops there!

Re: 12th Century Graveyard

I like the softness and also the hue.

It reminds me very much of the images of 'ghosts' in books that I used to love terrifying myself looking at when I was small.
