First, I'm not stupid and I do not appreciate a patronising tone - I know this is a forum. I joined a photography forum but am happy to withdraw if this is a debate forum. I'm not interested, I have better things to do in my life.

Secondly, I have not started any debate. I was only replying to BlackCloud's suggestions which were appropriate on his reply to myself and nobody else.

I have no interest whatsoever to open any debate; if I did I would have opened a new thread in an appropriate category.

Re: Lone tree in Renfrewshire

I will be sure not to offer any help or critique on any of your photos again.

Once again, I really do wonder why I bother trying to offer any thoughts or advice or friendly help to people where photography is concerned, there seems to be a thing pretty exclusive to photography, where criticism is never ever accepted and taken with good grace, always seen as a personal insult, I just don't get it! Anyway, enough, can't be bothered with it all to be honest.

I think something is misunderstood...?

I have not, and will ever, ask strangers for help or critique regarding my photography. I only trust help and take critique from people I know ‘for real’; people I know for certain what they are talking about and who would give negative/positive criticism when needed and/or asked for. That is why I have not ticked the boxes for ‘C&C’ and ‘edit’ on this forum.

I can take critic/suggestions when it’s relevant and didn’t mind or comment on your suggestion of my photograph at all. I posted a photograph on this forum which was a bit dark (which I, with my laptop screen, couldn’t see), someone was kind enough to mention that – which was and is greatly appreciated so I amended that and reposted the picture.

What you responded to in your second post (#6) on this thread was about something which has absolutely nothing to do with the photograph.

I didn’t react on what you wrote, it is the tone you used I don’t like.

I ended last post with The End and I have no interest in continue discussing this further

I understand that and don't mind so - it's how things are said I react on; I'm a very nice person but can't do certain tones. Never mind, over and done with and I can be gone
