I love the content and color but they do all seem a bit out of focus. I didn't look at the exif data to determine shutter speed, F/stop, or lens. You may be getting too close for the lens you're using.

For best results I would resize before uploading as our uploader doesn't have the best resizing function tbh - and can soften an image. (Or try photobucket.com, they've always been pretty good as a host).

Good start. In my own opinion, indoor shots can be posed, you have plenty of time. Choose your background carefully, think about how you are going to pose the subject to present it well, put the camera on a tripod, choose an aperture around f11 and let the camera make the exposure on aperture priority for starters, You can move on to manual once you start getting the hang of it.

You have a good eye though and that is great the other stuff is perfected in time and even after years sometimes things don't go to plan.

That's a very good point. You may think I'm good at table top stuff, but often I'll take 20-30 shots before I get the one I want. Patience is a virtue

Did you take this using a tripod? I can't see any exif data, what settings did you use?

I like them all for composition just a tad soft.

If you nail the composition the other can can be perfected in time.
