Wish I could have gone as well, but the law doesn't allow the place to be unattended whilst there are boarders in the kennels or cattery.

Our old girl since she has the fit or stroke, whatever it was as the vet couldn't tell, is going around in a bit of a vague manner the last few days. Such as she wants to go outside, and when she goes out she seems to forget what she went out for. She knows who we are etc etc, but on occassion doesn't appear to be exactly with it. Anyway she is the oldest afghan we have ever owned since 1972 and we have had usually 2/3 or 4 at any one time.

been through this with our last dog, as she got older, seemed to get very confused and have what the vet termed "episodes", she'd stare of into space, and wander, and then seemed bemused when she was in another room or garden. But, she plodded on for ages, bless her, there's something special about older dogs,isn't there

Not only do I get nagged at in stereo (Sue and Dawn) 5 days a week, but get blamed as well on here.
