This might work better in colour to do the evening (or morning) light some justice, but it is underexposed and really a muddle of grey in all that foliage. I would have taken a step to the left and show the line being cast out over the lake with some space to the right so we can see where it is going. You would then get rid of the big mass of nothing to the left. The good points though is the angler is on the thirds and the reflection is nice, but the angler needs to be better lit. You might be able to salvage something from the original image although I am guessing on an FZ38 that underexposed area will be noisy.

Thanks for the tips bc. Yes, it was late evening. I was just on my way home when this guy got a bite.
It's funny when you see your own pictures through the eyes of someone else. I see what you are taking about.

Hey Musky, I love the light and the scene, but I keep wondering what the rest of the house looks like.
