Thanks Dave, She ended up on her own just having a drink.

I just had a thought, may be she was cross because she didn't want to drink his old bath water

Re: Bath time fun

Great pictures.
I've just joined so please tell me if I'm doing wrong here. When you start a thread can anyone post a picture on that thread?
Only asking as I have a wood pigeon taking a bath and would post it on this thread or do I start my own thread?
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave I have no problems at all about people adding pictures to my posts. But I know on some other forums people can be a little sniffy and I guess it's not really the done thing.

Also of course you will get more recognition for your own shots if you start a thread yourself, because people will be replying to your work.

Which ever you decide is fine with me Dave

There great to watch and photograph, they really go at it don't they

I used to be a shoot the odd woody years ago, but I don't have it in me to kill things anymore, in fact I've driven miles to rescue Doves and Woody's now

Just bought a bird bath for the garden (that pigeon was in an upside down plastic bin lid). The bath should attract even more birds now.

I shot the odd thing 30 years ago when I was in my early teens but nothing since then. I was just a silly 13 year old with a airgun. Only shooting to be done now is with the camera
