EXIF data/shooting info in images.

Is it possible that people can include some of the shooting data with their pictures? I know some programs remove EXIF data, but I always find it interesting to see how people are shooting stuff. What do you think?

Re: EXIF data/shooting info in images.

I know some people's photos have the exif in the jpegs and you can just right click to get it

Unfortunately if you use save for web option in photoshop it removes the data :-/

Yes Azz, I know some of the pics have the exif, I do look at it, its all the others. Perhaps saving it another way? resizing elsewhere? Its not a big deal, but it is something I know a lot of people look at, I for one do find it informative.

Re: EXIF data/shooting info in images.

Well I use IRFANVIEW to resize - I have just had a look at a picture and all the EXIF data has been stripped out however when I looked at my settings (In IRFANVIEW) I have the 'Keep original EXIF data' box checked Will have to look at that as I often like viewing the EXIF data for others shots.

Re: EXIF data/shooting info in images.

I think it's more useful when people take pics in manual mode - as more thought has gone into the settings... ?

I use P mode mostly, followed by A and S modes. I would like to get a camera with more controls on the body before getting into manual mode
