Bazza - I'm not talking about theory. I'm talking about theory in practice.

It doesn't matter what you put into your image datatags - anybody with very little knowledge can wipe Exif files and image datatags and replace them with whatever they like. So that kinda blows your theory out of the water.

The only sure way to protect your image is to keep original back-up files on the original media you took them with and mail it to yourself in a witnessed sealed envelope which is date stamped and unopened. That is exactly what larger printing houses do to protect their work.

I doubt for the average punter that would be worth doing - and if you ever had to prove ownership in court, even the most basic forensic check of your original image datatags will reveal original ownership.

Very nice - as I said on NFRS I like the Gadwall. Not sure about the first kite or the greylags - but I love the second kite too...
