It's local express line, for all the woodland creatures of course The squirrels run a train 5 times a day during the week, and the local foxes, do the weekend shift, though rabbits, rarely take the weekend trains for obvious reason, as then there is a lunch car, and they are on the menu.

Interesting shot.

Not sure about this one but narrow guage railways were often built on the side of canals where there was no close road access. They were used to move rail skips full of silt that had to be dredged from the canal.
