Re: Black Country Living Museum

Yep 3 hour power cut but did allow me to see baby deer in the field behind the cattery, well at least the top of their ears.

Re: Black Country Living Museum

Haven't been for about a year but it's a great place, especially if it isn't overrun with moronic school kids and moronic adults getting in your shots (bah, humbug!).

I thought this place was great until I went to Beamish.

Re: Black Country Living Museum

What a bright day your ran into there. It's tough getting a good exposure with a nearly blank shot. I find myself bracketing in such an environment, sometime plus or minus 2 stops. I favor the final shot the best.

Re: Black Country Living Museum

Bob
Bracketing is ok but not on a canal boat thats moving, or when people are moving about while in shot. This is a very popular historical visitor site so bracketing can't be done.
We got there just as it was opening so managed to get in the above pictures before the hords of school parties and others descended on the place.

Its a 26 acre site and I havn't posted all the photos taken, just those that might be of general interest .
