He doesn't say much but I can tell by the way he trips me up at every opportunity that he doesn't really like me. He's not expensive or flashy but solid and decent and I feel he could be a reliable companion.....if only we can make it work.

Also, when we are out and about he screams 'Female Togger..come patronise her...' attracts a crowd and makes me look conspicuous, so stealth shots are out.

We need some kind of guidance counselling....can anyone help us?

* Would love to hear from someone who made a love match with their tripod after a wobbly legged start.

wow i thought it was just me, it just seems like another bit of kit to carry, but i'm so wobbly on my feet, that the tripod seemed to be the answer,

I'm sure that my photo's would benefit from it, if only i didn't get into such a muddle with it,

Last time i tried to use my tripod, i dropped the lot i suppose it's like anything, it just takes practice.......practice.......practice

Re: Please help me learn to love...........

You and me both girl....I totally hear you!!!

I took the 'Nancy's Rose' shot with a tripod and I must admit that I can see a difference...bah :/

I have a remote switch that I want to use with the tripod so things could be even smoother.

We CAN do this!!!!

Mine is just a cheap one {Konig 35} and it has a silly ball head on top, which is very hard to use, if i can get used to using it i may treat myself to another one, without the silly ball thingy

this is the one http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tv...-tripod35.html

Re: Please help me learn to love...........

well I know its a dissapointment for Daisy and Musky but mine is of average size
my favourite tool is a walking stick of which the handle unscrews and reveals a thread to screw my camera on
back in the old days it used to be a bolt and washer with a bit of string
the bolt screwed into the camera with the string tied to it ,on the other end of the string was tied the washer
you stood on the washer and pulled the string tight which had the effect of reducing camera shake

I was just shocked, i thought big one's would be a problem to carry around

but hey you have given me an idea, to save on carrying a tripod a round i wonder if my hubby could adapt my crutch {walking aid} to something similar
