I like it.
The exposure is great and somehow the 'rear view' works as it makes you wonder what's up ahead.

It's not the back or front that bothers me at all, it's the green on blue that I don't really like at all, the two colours just don't seem to compliment each other at all. I like the composition of the shot, and the way it fills the frame. I think that you would get a more effective shot in this case with either a mono shot or just a single tone.

I was just wondering if the photo taken further back to include what the statue was on may have been a better shot? Not being there I don't know if this is possible of course.

It is possible (I think I tried IIRC) but it also gave an ugly view of cars etc too at that point - and the plinth the statue is on is rather unattractive and modern. I rather liked the idea of it not looking so much like a statue, as though it didn't have a plinth.
