Nice colours Z, it's a tad soft tho... you taking pics through windows again?

Spring arrives with all those muted blues and pinks along with white and pale green of new unfurling leaves and this shrub knocks us sideways with it's brash bright orange. I have know idea what it is but it has always seemed so out of season to me I think it belongs in high summer.

Not sure what happened to the focus Launa, so not like you, maybe you have got too used to the Bigma. I am wondering if because of the rain you rushed out of the house snapped and rushed back it does look very wet.

You are to be congratulated for finding something other than birds however and I hope you are soon able to get out and about a bit more.

No! haha - it's the PP - the original is in perfect focus I just was mucking around with glows and soft focus and other nonsense, and obviously it doesn't work!

LOL, we all have moments like that, not sure if it works or not think even in altered work it have to be so changed that it is obvious it is a piece of art or it needs to be in focus (with me more or less)

This is certainly a flash of colour, I hope it cheered you up - is it still raining? More to the point are you feeling any better?

Well - it's not raining, but it's still pretty grim - hey at least it's not raining! I feel a bit better - after a nice weekend watching gannets, whimbrel and godwit Has been pleasant from a birdwatching point of view, and I've enjoyed playing some music too.
