Currys is £999 with their £100 off voucher. Actually that's where I bought my old one from, with the same £100 off voucher

Not bad. 
Wish they'd hurry up with some sort of new full frame though. Actually, that or that I had enough in my savings fro the D700 right now! Sadly - it's not to be. Bugger the cost of driving! Bleh!

My friend has already worked out I could sell my D300 and DX lenses and be left with enough to buy D700 and still have some suitable lenses in my stable...hmmm.
