Front lens caps
Strange item to bring up under tips you may think! But I am constantly suprised how much dust and dirt gets attached to this item. Ask yourself when you last cleaned one out either by brush or blower?
Well worth checking from time to time as is stays right next to the lens when not in use, a terrific source of lens dust.

Good tip Bazza. I dropped my cap to the ground today while shooting. I generally keep the cap in my jeans watch pocket when shooting. I suspect there may be a tad bit of lint there.
